Mount Everest - 9:30 this morning

Wednesday - 3/19/2008 This morning I took a flight over the Himalayas to Mount Everest and back. The highest mountains in the world and what an awe - inspiring sight! You can't see them from Kathmandu, but as soon as you fly out, there they are, right in front of you in all their glory. To sit there and look out forever was just unbeleivable. It was a great flight - took about an hour - cost $150 and was worth every penny of it!  And the closest I'll ever get to Everest! My only complaint was that the windows were tinted and pretty scratched so it was hard to get good pictures. I still got some good ones though...
